This month, Hillyard's Carl Hascall and Dan Smith along with WellAir's Raelene Lavelle visited the stadium of Minor League Baseball team the Hartford Yard Goats. Last year, a case of MRSA traveled through their locker room, infecting players and staff. In order to boost air quality and infection control practices, they brought in the Novaerus Defend 1050.
The team has had the unit in their locker room for two weeks, and they are already noticing a difference. The Defend 1050 has fought off the harsh locker room odors and is quiet enough that it has gone unnoticed amongst the players.
